A Sparrow'sHome

There’s a holy hush in this sacred place,

A stillness…almost a fear.

We see the altar; we’re dazzled by gold

And we sense the Almighty is near.

Then our eyes are drawn past the glory and gold

To an object of sticks and sod;

For here in the midst of this holy place

Lives a sparrow at home with her God.
