Cancer Cannot

Tomorrow, August 14, I will have my last chemo infusion. Since this was a precautionary treatment, hopefully I will never have to do this again. I want to share with you the text of a lovely plaque that hangs on the wall of my oncologist's office.

Cancer is So Limited

Cancer has not:

crippled love

shattered hope

corroded faith

eaten away peace

destroyed confidence

killed friendship

shut out memories

silenced courage

invaded the soul

reduced eternal life

quenched the spirit

Cancer cannot...has not...will not...lessen
