I Did It!

Grandson Nathaniel is two years old and, as his PawPaw describes him, an independent little cuss. He is long and lean with yellow-blonde hair, big brown eyes and a perpetual smile. He’s a happy, determined little dude.

His parents knew he had been working on climbing out of his crib. One recent evening, they sat listening to his exertions via the monitor in their room. Suddenly the sounds changed. My daughter raced across the house to see if he was okay. Just as she reached his room, the door flung open and he looked at her breathlessly.

“I did it!” he exclaimed.

Accomplishment. It’s a good thing…and a God thing.
